Dear Parents, Teachers & Staff,
The PTA would like to welcome you back for the 2016-17 school year and wish everyone a fun and successful new year. We are super excited to welcome Dr. Susan Kukucka, and begin this journey with her as our new principal! If you are not familiar with the Hope Twp PTA, let me give you a quick run-down. We are a group of Parents & Relatives,
Teachers & Administrators, Community Leaders & Members that want the BEST for our children of Hope! We raise funds to bring educational assemblies, updated technologies, school improvements all while advocating for our students both locally and nationally. Just take a look on the back of this letter to see some the great accomplishments
we were able to achieve this last year! Our goal is to do even more this year!!
We have moved away from catalog sales with over priced merchandise and have focused our fundraising efforts on hosting events and activities that are fun and community based. In addition, we participate with a select group of companies that donate a percentage of their sales when you shop with them or buy their products - which all adds up! (this packet contains information on the participating companies) Our big fundraisers for this year will continue to be our exciting Adult Gift Card Bingo on November 18th and our spectacular School Carnival on June 3rd - so Save the Dates! We’d love to get your feedback and suggestions as well. Our meetings will continue to be held in the Media Center @ 7pm on the 1st Monday of the month, barring holiday conflicts. Our FIRST meeting is scheduled
for 9/12 @ 7pm!
We can’t achieve our motto of “GO BIG, OR GO HOME!” without YOUR help! First step is to join the PTA for the low $5/fee per adult membership. Next, tell us what comes easy for you. If every parent could make a commitment to volunteer for JUST 3 hours between now and June we would have more than enough help to really make a big difference. Best of all as a member you have a say in what we do and how we contribute to the school. Another great PTA Member perk will be our NEW exclusive members-only text message reminders for both PTA and General School events - so you can always stay up-to-date with what is happening in our school! Also keep an eye out for our very own Hope Township PTA website coming soon!! It will have lots of great info and useful links to keep you connected to our school and community.
